I had to be that neighbor today

We live in an apartment/condo thingy. We live on the bottom floor of the end. The people who live above us are spolied rich kids College students who go home for the summer, so they have only been here a few times in the two months we have lived here.

They have been here the last few days getting all of their new furniture delivered.

These spolied rich kids College students are the loudest damn people I have ever met. How is it that someone who weighs 95lbs. can make so much noise when they walk that it wakes me from a dead sleep? Or make the glass sitting on the table vibrate?

This morning I walked over to the office and talked to the manager. I told her I don't want to be that neighbor, and that I tried to just ignore it, and that because I have three boys I am the last person to complain about noise, but that it was bad. Really bad.

She is going to remind them that people live under them, and that it can seem much louder to us than they think it is. Let's hope it works.

Update: The furniture delivery truck pulled up about a half an hour ago. Now they are dragging all of their furniture around the apartment.

The sad thing is that it is the mothers that are making the most noise.
